Our Shipping Philosophy
Shipping a piece of wall art that has taken months to create requires the same care as making it. Every HPFA piece is custom-crated in our studio in a purpose-built wooden box, padded with museum-quality materials that hold the piece firmly and cushion any shock without direct contact.
We have shipped hundreds of pieces across North America and internationally without a single case of damage caused by our crating. On the rare occasion that a carrier has damaged a piece, our full insurance coverage has ensured complete replacement at no cost to the client.
We do not use off-the-shelf cardboard boxes or generic foam packing. Every crate is built specifically for the piece it carries, with custom foam cutouts and corner bracing. We include the mounting hardware and care documentation inside the crate in a separate sealed envelope.
Built in-studio for each piece. Dimensions, padding, and bracing are specific to your piece's size, weight, and fragility.
Every shipment is insured for the full purchase price of the piece. Insurance documentation is included with your tracking information.
We photograph every piece in its crate before shipping. This creates an indisputable record of the piece's condition at departure.
You receive a tracking number and carrier link as soon as your piece ships. We're available to answer questions through the entire delivery process.
Delivery Details
Shipped via FedEx Ground (small pieces) or FedEx Freight (large pieces). Transit times are typically 3β7 business days from our Pacific Northwest studio. Shipping costs are calculated by size and weight at checkout. Free shipping on orders over $2,500.
Shipped via FedEx International Priority in fully documented custom crates. Transit times vary by destination, typically 5β10 business days. Import duties and taxes are the responsibility of the recipient. CITES documentation provided at no charge for regulated species.
For pieces over 40 lbs or orders over $10,000, we offer optional white-glove freight service with inside delivery and room-of-choice placement. Contact us for a quote. Available within the contiguous USA.
Returns Policy
If we have available (non-commission) pieces in stock, these may be returned within 14 days of delivery in original, undamaged condition. Return shipping is at buyer's expense. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery to initiate a return.
Custom commissions are non-returnable, as they are made to your exact specifications. However, if a piece arrives damaged or does not match the agreed specifications, we will make it right at no charge.
Photograph all damage before unpacking, save all packaging materials, and contact us within 24 hours. We will manage the insurance claim and arrange repair or replacement. Do not discard any packaging until you hear from us.
